Legal expenses insurance case study

A clients premises were located behind factories and could only be accessed via a small alley.

A neighbouring business caused problems because its lorries frequently blocked the entrance to the alley, causing delivery delays and consequently losing our client business.

He employed a solicitor to sue the neighbouring business for damages as well as requesting an injunction to prevent the lorries blocking the access.

Our client successfully obtained an injunction and was awarded £12,000 in damages. We paid his £7,000 legal costs.
